Eoin and Dee are both musicians, they had some of their friends play at the church during the ceremony and then almost everyone involved in singing ‘Higher Love’ as the newlyweds walked down the aisle in celebration.

The morning and photoshoot took place in Blanchville House, Kilkenny. Then on to St John the Evangelist church and eventually Langtons Hotel Kilkenny where friends of Eoin and Dee played a show for the couples first dance in the theatre.

Eoin & Dee broke traditional rules and had their day the way they felt like it. Starting with Eoin seeing Dee for the first time as she walked down the stairs of Blanchville House and then doing their photoshoot on the grounds before the ceremony, wanting to get it out of the way so they could enjoy the day with their guests uninterrupted. Their reception featured a double decker catering bus and a three piece ukulele band for their guests to enjoy in the sun. Speeches unexpectedly took place here and then off to enjoy their meal in Langtons where a violin was on display for all of their guests to sign or leave a message for Eoin and Dee. Arriving at the theatre, an old black and white film was projected as the band played for their first dance.

Photography was taken by Dara Munnis on the day, a really great candid photographer.

This film was featured on One Fab Day.
