At Luminaire Weddings, we create contemporary cinematic wedding films that capture the excitement and magic of your wedding day. With over a decade of industry experience, we’ve established a great eye for capturing the one-of-a-kind moments that make your wedding day unforgettable.
Everyone’s wedding is different so we offer different levels of coverage in our packages. The day can start in the morning right up to your first dance, it’s up to you. All of our packages include a Feature Film, our Signature Short Film and a made to share Instagram/Social Teaser.
Our approach is discreet, unobtrusive, friendly and relaxed so that you can focus on what’s important, and leave the rest to us.

Ceremony Film
Parts of your ceremony will be in your Feature Film but if you’d like more of the ceremony to watch back as a standalone film, this is the option for you.
4K Delivery
For those who love detail, we offer to deliver all of your films in 4k Ultra High Definition video.
Extra Late Stay
Wedding days are action packed and full of surprises. With our Gold Collection we’re with you up until 10pm but if you’d prefer us to stick around a little longer and catch more of you and your crew on the dance floor, we can stay for an extra hour.

Frequently asked
Where is Luminaire Weddings and how far do you travel for filming?
Luminaire Weddings is based in Dublin and regularly travels to Galway, Cork or anywhere in Ireland (and Northern Ireland) for weddings. We’re good to go wherever your wedding is and we’re also happy to discuss international and overseas extravanganza’s!
Do you charge a travel fee?
There is no extra travel fee for weddings anywhere in Ireland. If your wedding is a multi day event or a destination wedding taking place outside of Ireland, travel and accommodation will be added to your chosen package and we keep that expense to a minimum.
How long will it take to receive our films?
We try our best to get wedding films out the door as soon as we can. Our delivery time for your finished films is roughly 14 weeks from your wedding date and sometimes a little longer during our busy season.
Do you use a drone for aerial shots?
Yes we do, we always try to get our drone in the air for establishing shots where possible. With that said, Ireland can have four seasons in a day so flying a drone is not always possible and occasionally not permitted depending on your wedding venue. While we try to do our best, drones are flown at our discretion.
How can we check if our wedding date is available?
It’s as simple as can be. Head on over to our contact page, send us a message with your wedding date and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
How long will our wedding video be?
Our Feature Films range from 15-20 mins in duration and our Short Films are 3-5 mins in duration. We also offer a highlight of your Ceremony which includes all of the readings and your vows. Speeches if chosen are filmed in their entirety so they’re as long as they are on the day.
Who will actually be filming and editing our wedding videos?
Alec will be filming and editing your wedding video. There’s no outsourcing, no unknown videographer showing up on the day and no other editor going through the footage of the day. If you like the work at Luminaire Weddings you’ll be hiring the same person who created the films you like.
How will we recieve our wedding films?
All of our films are delivered on our Luminaire Weddings wooden USB drives and sent straight to your door.
